Being a child can be difficult especially when you are still navigating behavioral, emotional, and social changes. And where are here to give you a hand. We work with both children and adolescents from ages 3 to 20 years old. We can support your child with art, play and talk therapy though a couple of challenges, including but not restricted to social difficulties, separation anxiety, parent-child relationship problems, bereavement, grief and loss, general unhappiness, sadness or depression, behavioral problems, self-esteem and body image problems, bullying, abuse, aggression and anger, persistent worry, stress and anxiety, trauma, school refusal, suicidal thoughts and self-harming.

So what do we do? We utilize a combination of evidence-based treatments which include art therapy, play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT. The first session is conducted between the therapist, and the parent/s without the child. The main goal of this session is for us to acquire information that will assist us to assess, diagnose and eventually treat your child. The second session starts with the therapist, parent/s and child. Confidentially is tackled and the restrictions are established. After this takes place, the parent/s are then asked to wait in the reception area while the therapist is establishing a rapport with the child. Keep in mind that the parents play a vital role in this process, as a result, we are here to support you as well. Be sure to discover more here!
